Cool - At Home Now - Feel OK, but hard time sleeping At Home Now - Feel OK, but hard time sleeping

Hello Sisters,

I had my supracervical hysterectomy on 4-12, and was sent home on Wed 4-14. I feel better than I expected, but still taking it easy, doing some walking, drinking water and following the Dr's instructions.

Friday I get to have my staples come off of the surgery site, but I do have a question that I thought someone could help me on.

I usually am a good sleeper and since home from the hospital, my bed doesnt cut it (and its a new mattress too), and I have a hard time sleeping. Most of the time I sleep on my side, which I prefer but its pretty hard staying comfortable and turning over is near impossible at the moment. So I spend half the night in an easy chair and the other half in bed.

Any suggestions on when this gets better and what I can do to help my sleeping habits?

Thanks,
HTC
