"dragging" pain

Hi

I had a TVH 3 weeks ago. My doctor said that it was a difficult opeation as also had to tie off some pelvic vein varices. Also lost a lot of blood and needed 2 blood transfusions.

I think that I have hit the "3 week wall" but what worries me is that if I stand for too long I get a horrible "dragging" aching pressure type feeling at top of vagina. The best way to describe it is that "something is falling out - like a baseball!!!" although nothing has. I have done some ironing today and after standing was in considerable pain.

Do I need to worry. Have I done any damage. Please let me know if anyone else has had a similar feeling.

This website is such a comfort - please help me ladies!

Yes, you have hit the 3-week wall and your body is trying to tell you not to iron. Let the clothes be wrinkled. If you spend more time lying around with your feet up interspersed with short bursts of LIGHT activity, you'll probably feel a lot better.

Is your family able to help you with the basics of housework? It really sounds as if you simply need a little more rest.
