Severe pain left side 17 days post TAH

I'm new today to this site and find it wonderful. I am recovering fairly well and like many got a little too active. I am experiencing a sharp, body shuddering pain that I have to breathe through that lasts 5-10 seconds every once in a while. (5-6 times today, and a few times yesterday. I am going in to my dr tomorrow, but was wondering if anyone experiences pain like that?

Yep, I had it too, at about the same time after my surgery. My doctor said it was nerve regeneration, and healing. Glad you're going to the doctor tomorrow, though, so you can find out for sure. Hugs

I am glad you are seeing the doc tomorrow. You probably overdid it a little bit and your muscles are overreacting to it. Hopefully you are fine. Take it easy between now and then. Good luck tomorrow.
