Ever get this sensation?

I get a pinching feeling deep in my vagina , anteriorly, and it's not usually started by any particular action. When i describe this to my gyn's i don't get a response. This leads me to believe either they don't know what to day about it or I'm not making sense. It's also kind of a pulling/tugging pinch. Maybe my cervix moving? I dunno. It's quite uncomfortable.

Re: Ever get this sensation?

Hi WKShawdow,
I didn't get a pinching feeling vaginally but I got this sharp tugging/pinching sensation like I was pulling something important apart inside on my lower right side. Actually this unexplainable pain was the final straw in deciding on the hysterectomy. I couldn't see inside my abdomen, and my OBGYN/surgeon could only diagnose fibroids and a large uterus from the sonograms so I knew if I really wanted to know what was happening inside, because I knew something wasn't right, I would have to have the surgery.
I am so glad I did because not only was my uterus full of 20 plus fibroids but my right tube was stuck to my colon. The surgeon literally had to peel the tube off of my colon and once she was finished there wasn't enough tube left to keep the ovary alive so she took it too. She told me that it was all stuck together like one massive glob.
I knew something was wrong and I guess I should have had this procedure done years ago but I'm glad it wasn't any worse.
So don't be afraid just know that the only way you will really know what's going on inside is for them to go in and take a look and make any necessary corrections.
Good Luck,

Re: Ever get this sensation?

Thank you. I keep thinking I'm alone in these findings. Glad to hear I am not.

Re: Ever get this sensation?

It's funny how all these happenings seem so individual yet they aren't. Finding validation really improves my outlook on not only my condition, but my eventual recovery.

Re: Ever get this sensation?

Hi WKShadow,
I feel these same sensations as you. Sometimes it is a sharp stabbing feeling in the groin, or it is a throbbing ache, or a tugging/pulling pain. Do you have endometriosis? I have Stage 4, so I think that this is what's causing it. Everything is all gummed up in there. Too many adhesions. My doctor also thought that these pains could be nerve pains. I started to get them more frequently after my first surgery to take out an ovary.

Hope you feel better soon!

Re: Ever get this sensation?

Thanks PepperCat. My Endo is only suspected at this time due to all my symtoms. The US showed "something" but the biopsy was normal. My uterus is tilted as well, accounting for my low back pains. I can only imagine that I'm all gummed up too based on what I'm feeling and experiencing. (dysparenunia, dysmenorrhea, etc etc.)

I get those wonderful jabs as well. I can't even imagine what state my girlie bits will be in when they take a look.
