Vit. E oil on scar - when

When can istart putting vitamin e oil on my TAH scar? I'm almost a week out. Any other ideas to minimize the scar? I have a bump at the end of the incision that I want to minimize. Help!!!

From what I have been reading it seems like you should check wth your doctor before applying anything directly to your scar. I believe it needs to be completely healed. I too am dying to use Vitamin E or BioOil to minimize the scar. My skin is stretched and dry! I am going to ask my doctor next week at my 4 week check up...

I started using bio-oil on mine at around three weeks, my incision was glued so was closed and healing up well. I am now five weeks and have been using the bio-oil everyday. It has helped with the stretched skin but it's still going down but dosen't feel rubbery anymore. I have lumps under the skin all along the incision they are slowly going down as well.
