5 1/2 months out---occasional bleeding and cramping...

HI Ladies,

I haven't been around for a long time...things have been good!

I had the Laprascopic Supracervical Hyst. and I'm having occasional light bright red bleeding...usually only when I wipe after going to the bathroom and usually after sex. And when I have this light spotting I usually have cramping....or pain right in the middle where the uterus used to be. I thought this would get better over time. Seems to be maybe around my "time" of the month?!? But then when we have sex it's whenever. Is this normal? can anyone help me? my dr never told me what to expect. Should I be concerned?
thanks for any help or advice
Robyn

I think you should be making a call to your dr first thing in the morning, I had a TVH on april7,2010 and I have'nt bleed or cramp since post-op day 8, so I think you really should check it out, something does'nt sound right, good luck, and let us know how things go!!

I've read that if you keep your cervix you can still have mini periods. I would call your doc since it is usually after sex. Keep us updated!

I'm just now having the same problem. Kind of scary.. I called doctor office today but they didn't get back to me today. The spotting has gotten more and brighter. This is around the same time I would have had a period. What the heck?
I have also just finished my forth round of antibiotics and trying to kick a Strep Urinary infection. Going to urology tomorrow to hopful get some answers.
But what's up with the bleeding? Its been 8 weeks..
