Vaginal Endometrial Polyps 4 months post op

I had my uterus and cervix removed on Dec 30 due to adenomyosis and severe inflammation of the cervix. Prior to that in November I had a lapo at which time they removed severe adhesions from endometriosis.

Since the surgery I have continued to have severe pelvic pain specifically on the left side. I've seen more doctors than I care to list. The last one, an "endometriosis specialist" told me that I had pelvic floor dysfunction and some physical therapy, birth control pills and elavil I'd be great in no time. That was over two months ago. And not the case.

This past Saturday after having sex with my husband (only the 3rd time in 7 months because of pain) I had my normal terrible pain afterwards. The next morning I began spotting, which continued. I spoke with my surgeon (because endo specialist is out of the country) on Monday - she was no help. Told me it isn't normal but basically she wasn't going to deal with it.

Went and saw an OB/Gyn nurse practioner this morning because I was still spotting. I have two good size polyps on my vaginal wall. She said they are endometriosis that has pushed through. These are what are bleeding, and the pushing through along with other endometriosis in there is whats causing pain. Since my hysterectomy I've also been diagnosed with PCOS. NP says I just need to get endo scraped again and have ovaries removed to stop it.

Anyone else have any experience with this stuff?

Hello there. I'm sorry you are having to deal with this. My situation is somewhat like yours. Lap for endo...then cervix and uterus removed for adeno. It's been almost 2 years and I've had slight spotting on and off the whole time. I've had the silver nitrate done more times that I care to admit. It didn't seem normal to me but he assured me that it was quite common to have to have it done. Fast forward = insurance changed and I wasn't to happy about having to switch GYN but with the spotting and pain on my left side I called to make the appt. The new Dr. suspects the 3 little spots on the vaginal cuff are endo and biopsied all 3. He also feels that it is on my left ovary.

I will need to wait for the biopsy results to come back but my Dr. said that Lupron would help. I've not researched it but have heard pros and cons about it.

Vaginal wall polyps recto/vaginal endo??

I had a colonoscopy - came back clear. Gastro told me he felt strongly that pain is recto-vaginal endometriosis in the cul de sac that wasn't removed previously. He said he thought it was causing constant pain, muscle problems, bowel problems, sexual problems and bladder issues (opposite of incotinence, very difficult to "go" never full stream anymore).

After sex with my poor husband (me loaded up on tons of heavy pain meds), I ended up with worse pain/cramping after and @ 12 hrs later vaginal bleeding that continued for 3 days. I saw an ob/gyn nurse practioner. She found 2 polyps on the vaginal wall. Said she suspects they are endometrial implants that pushed thru vaginal wall. She also said my ovaries feel to her like they need to be looked at. She said they probably just need to come out (my feeling for months now). I've been taking birth control pills - ocella to control my hormones for a few months now.

I have appointments in 2 wkd with 2 new endometriosis specialists. Praying that one of them is eager to help. I haven't been able to work for 8 months. I need solution!

I'm thinking I want my ovaries gone. I've also had history of cysts and they have been terrible lately despite birth control pills - I think that's what's doing it? I am so frustrated this week. The pain is unreal and definitely getting to me. I have an appointment two weeks from today with a new endo specialist a friend recommended. I just am so miserable that it seems like forever.

Sorry to be ranting, just exhausted and frustrated.

Scared - Vaginal Polyp Removal

So today I'm supposed to go in and have the vaginal polyps that were discovered last week removed by the nurse practitioner. I'm terrified. Has anyone else had this done?
