Hello Sisters from Maryland

Anyone from Maryland having or had a hysterectomy? If so give me a shout out!

Had TAH on 3/8/10. Still in "recovery" stage. ( 9 weeks out and I had expected to be more mobile than I am. Gets pretty boring doing nothing.
Having sacropolpopexy at the same time hasn't helped. Also had scar tissue removed from hernia repair that had attached (and was pulling) my colon to the left
What part of MD are you in?
I'm in AA county.

Im am from Ellicott City. I had TLH on 4/27/10. So 2 weeks out and doing ok, still spotting though. Im glad to see someone from from MD!

Hi every1, Im from Baltimore, MD. I had a partial on 3/31/10. 6wks later & finally the bleeding stops. WHEWWWW!!!! I cant wait to get my body back!

Welcome Me after Three - What part of Baltimore are you from? I am glad to hear that you stopped bleeding, I am almost 3 weeks post - op still bleeding so now I am hopeful that I will eventually stop.

I am from Charles County, MD. 5 weeks, 3 days post op. Have not had any bleeding since the first day after surgery! It is so wonderful!

Welcome, I will be glad when Im not bleeding anymore. Im glad to see some Marylanders on here. Im not alone!

Hi, Sisters! I'm from Ocean City (yes, I'm a local!). Today (May 20), I am exactly 1 year post-surgery. I have been doing great, although within the last couple months, I've started experiencing a nagging sort of pain on my lower right side. It comes and goes and I'm wondering if it's scar tissue or something else -- possibly appendicitis? (I pray not!) If it continues, I guess I'll have to get it checked out. But in the meantime, just know that it gets better. When you're all healed up, you'll probably feel better than you ever thought you could! So, hang in there ladies!
