UterCa: I am still here !!!

HI! I am Nicole!! I was diagnosed with uterine cancer in October of 2003, 10 days before my 27th birthday. After suffering 9 miscarriages and terrible endometrosis, I thought this was the worst thing ever. I had a total abdominal hysterectomy on Dec 8, 2003. I thought the worst was behind me and then I started chemo. I did three rounds of chemo and I was told I was cancer free. 4 years later I went to the doctor with horrible abdominal pain and was told that I had a mass where my uterus was. I was sent to the Oncologist who did a PET scan and a biopsy and determined I had cancer again. They called it recurrent Uterine cancer. I did three more rounds of Chemo and radiation. I was again in remission. A year later another mass came and I did chemo again and had surgery to remove the mass It has been 3 years and I am still cancer free, by the grace of God!!!!!!
