TAH: Intro

Hi All!
My surgery is scheduled for June 15. It's my first surgery and first hospital stay. Needless to say, I'm a bit scared. Looking forward to being a support and receiving support, too!

Hi Snowkitty! I am glad you joined this site! The gals here are amazing! Tomorrow is your Princess Day You will find it comforting to come here during your recuperation and see how well everyone is doing since their induction into this Sisterhood! I know I did! Plus, this site sends emails to you checking in on you in the months to come Post-Op. Very thoughtful! Did you get your book yet? I kept meaning to ask you, but kept forgetting!

Tell your sis that if she needs help with anything, to call me!

You are going to LOVE your newfound "freedom" and how it totally changes your quality of life! Like I told you before, I should have done this YEARS ago!!

I did receive my book and it answered lots of questions. I'm sure there will be more as I begin recupperation and I look forward to hearing from you all.

Welcome to the group. Get rested tonight. My firs surgery I was too nervous to sleep...then was afraid that I would have trouble waking up after the surgery becuse I hadn't slept. No problems. Next 2 surgeries I plan on sleeping the night before. This site has been lots of help and very entertaining also for those times when insomnia hits. Have a great surgery and remember to keep all of us posted.
