Vaginal pain & bleeding 4 weeks post davinci?

I had a divinci hysterectomy 4/26 (almost 4 weeks) and I started having pain, burning and discomfort when urinating and after. I went in and they tested me for a bladder infection and gave me antibiotics. I received a phone call 2 days later saying my test was negative but since I had some relief they told me to continue taking the antibiotic. A couple days ago the pressure and discomfort came back. Yesterday it burned a bit to go and today I have fresh red blood when I wipe. It burns during urination and after and when I sit it's starting to hurt. My dr isn't working today or tomorrow. What should I do? Does this warrant an ER visit or should I hang tight until Monday? I hate this!

You need to go in or make an appointment w your dr asap and have them check your vaginal cuff! There could be tears or it could be infected? Read my story about my torn vaginal cuff, you do not want this to happen. It could not be it, but if it is... better safe than sorry! Let me know! I am also a nurse so I am not trying to diagnose but if I was on-call, that is what I would tell my patient. Hope you feel better
