Finally Friday, May 28

Hello to all that follow,

Its Finally Friday, and I only say that because I hope next week is better, than this week has been. Enough of all this medical mumbo jumbo.

Have been OP for the most part this week, except for a couple of indulgences. Trying to limit those too.

No exciting plans for the holiday weekend. Haha, we aren't scheduled to work, we'll see if that lasts.

I did get a little house work done this morning, so that was a little exercise and just going to do 10 minutes on the bike, trying to keep those muscles loose.

Then I'm off to work a short shift.
Food will be OP.
Later Ladies

Re: Finally Friday, May 28

Morning Val and all who follow!

If you looked up the word "frustrated" in the dictionary, you would find my picture there. My back is still terribly sore, and the only things that help are DH's massages. Those don't arrive until after dinner. Ugh. If I'm not better by next Tuesday, I'll head to a doctor.

Food has been OP, and the scale is appreciating the drop in calories and "junk," so I'm hoping to be down a pound this week despite my lack of movement and exercise.

Dinner...Something very simple.

Have a TERRIFIC day all and a happy holiday weekend, if you're planning something fun!

Oh PJ, here's hoping your back is feeling better and that it shapes up soon and stops giving you the pain.

Re: Finally Friday, May 28

Thanks Valorie...Your mention of biking this morning inspired me to spend more time on my feet today. I managed to put a casserole together for dinner and fold some poor neglected laundry. This was also a bill paying day, so I spent a little extra time computing, etc. Felt good to move a little. Thanks for the inspiration!!

I have thought of you as I've been "couch bound" (actually bed bound). You're right...it's frustrating. Hope you're feeling better and keeping that headache away!! Hope you're continuing to take things slowly. Take care and enjoy your weekend (quiet or not ).

HUGS,
PJ

Re: Finally Friday, May 28

Hey you two and all who might follow,

Work work work - I feel like one of the 7 dwarfs. But the yard, patio furniture, more plants are all done. Lots of little stuff completed that needed doing outside. So that makes me feel good.

Dinner out this evening with DH's family. My best friend happens to be his cousin - she & her brood are up from Florida to attend a wedding so we all got together tonight. It was great to see her and her DH, oldest child & her boyfriend - we finally got to meet him. Nice guy.

Bkft: 1 egg, 1/2 toasted begal, 1/2 banana, coffee
Lunch: 1/2 sandwhich ham w/swiss on whole wheat - iced tea - 1/2 banana
Dinner out: broiled talapia (had NO taste what a shame), 1/2 baked spud, spinich (was yummy), chocolate birthday cake, coffee.

All in all I did good today. Scale was nice to me, yard work made for lots of bending & lifting & scrubbing.
My boobs hurt!
I guess I used muscles that have been dormant for many months.

And I'm beginning to tan - love it love it love it. Sun screen..... what's that?

Hugs everyone - I hope your back feels better PJ really soon,
And Val - I sure hope that nasty headache has gone for good!

M.

P.S. It's Memorial Day weekend. Please think of those who gave all to our country and honor their memory by attending a local veterans service if you can.
