Surgery Scheduled

OK maybe I'm a little strange but my surgery just got scheduled for July 2nd and I'm thrilled! I can't wait to get this over with! I'm having a total hysterectomy and hopefully leaving the ovaries if they are all right! I was bleeding for six weeks straight and ended up having two units of blood transfused back in April, then had a D&C in May and thank goodnesss no cancer, but Dr. said things just didnt look right so here I am! I'm on progesterone otherwise I'd still be bleeding! I just want to start feeling better and thanks to all the encouraging stories on hystersisters, I'm hoping things will turn out well! I'm sure I'll feel a lot more nervous when the time is growing closer! So much for fireworks this year, unless the meds they give me make me see my own! I'll be following the posts here everyday now! It's a wonderful forum! Thanks for all the information and support!
