Has anyone tried Women's Libido?
I discovered this herbal supplement when I went to get my Remifemin (black cohosh) because I can't take HRT's. The Remifemin has worked wonders, but needed to check with my GP before taking the Women's Libido due to all the herbs in it and other health problems I have. I got the okay today to take the Women's Libido (although she told me it interacts with estrogen or progesterone -- just to let you know in case you're on any HRT's). Just wondering if anyone's tried it.

Re: Has anyone tried Women's Libido?

I think I found it, I hadn't heard of this one before.
Here is the list of ingredients:
Muira Puama Bark (Ptychopetalum olacoides) 75 mg.
Maca (Lepidium meyenii) 45 mg.
Tribulus fruit (Tribulus terrestris) 42 mg.
Damiana Leaf (Turnera diffusa) 39 mg.
Sarsaparilla Root (Smilax regelii) 39 mg.
***** Goat Weed (Epimedium grandiflorum) 39 mg.
Oats, Wild Milky Seed (Avena sativa) 24 mg.
Ginger rhizome, Supercritical Extract (Zingiber officinale) 12 mg.
Blue Vervain herb (Verbena hastata) 12 mg.
+ Each 3 capsules daily contain 3000 mg crude herb equivalent.
If your doctor has okayed it, might be worth a try to see if it works. If you do decide to use it, please do check back and let us know how it worked for you.

Re: Has anyone tried Women's Libido?
Kim - That sounds very similar. Mine says "Proprietary synergistic extract blend - 327 mg" whatever that means. It also says 3 capsules contain 4,500 mg herb equivalent; however, it doesn't break down the mg of each individual ingredient like you found. It also says it is high potency, easy absorption; 100% vegetarian, dairy free, no gluten-containing ingredients, and free of heavy-metal toxicity. The ***** goat weed and damiana normalize arousal and desire and the maca and sarsaparilla root tonifies the reproductive system (need to look up what it means by tonifies -- haven't heard that one). I've taken 2 today so we'll see if it works. I like the idea of it better than testosterone cream. Overall, it's cheaper even though it's $27.00 for 20 days.

Re: Has anyone tried Women's Libido?
I found it at a health food store. It's made by Gaia Herbs, so I'm betting you could find a store on their web site. I'm sure my DH will be thrilled if it works! Now, if I could only take a pill instead of having to use lubrication I'd be a very happy person!

Re: Has anyone tried Women's Libido?
Just ordered a bottle on-line. I live in Canada so they really get you with shipping and duty charges but if it works it will be worth it. i
I have not had much interest in sex for quite a while - post menopausal symptom probably - but I love my DH and want to enjoy more intimacy. Hopefully this might help a bit!!!

Re: Has anyone tried Women's Libido?
Well since I'm already taking it I'll let you know. They told me at the store that one woman said it worked in two days. I'll give it at least a week, but looking up some of the herbs online it might help with other things which would be a bonus - like energy! I've had no libido post surgery either and figure it's menopause.

Re: Has anyone tried Women's Libido?
I haven't been on it quite 2 days and haven't noticed a big difference, but I'm also tired. Went to bed last night and DH wanted to know if it was working yet ! I told him I'd only taken 2 pills. I'll keep you posted.
