6-11-10 One year Post-op

Today makes 1 year since my TVH (kept both ovaries). I feel great! I look great!! Shoot, I am great!!! I am so glad that everything worked out for me and for so many others! I do not miss my period or those awful fibroids. I have great sex still and I don't feel different at all, except no period pain. It was a slow progress at first, but girls hang in there because it will all get better. I was scared of what would happen to me after surgery, but I feel soooo much better now. Funny thing is I didnt realize how bad I truly felt until I started healing after surgery. Sure, I still get moody and sometimes feel my ovaries around ovulation, but I can live with that. I am woman!!!

Thank you to this website! Hystersisters rocks and I have sent so many women this way who are having issues just like I was. I know that you guys will help them on their way to freedom!

thank you so much for your post it was great to see, i am 4 weeks post opp from a lavh and your post hit me at a good time cause i am getting very aggravated at how slow the healing process is i am still hurting in my belly and down below and it drives me crazy . the ladies on this sight keep me sane . thanks agin for giving me something good to look forward to !
