strange discharge 7 weeks

Hi - I have been reading for weeks but haven't posted until now.

I had a TVH on May 11th, still have ovaries, no cervix.

My surgery went extremely well, 2 days later I was home and felt as though I didn't even have surgery. Wonderful which was great but hard because I knew I felt good but wasn't allowed to do anything.

Fast forward to week 5.5 - I fell. Almost did the splits ( ouch as I'm not very flexible) afterwards some more stitches came out which I didn't think anything of because I had been passing stitches since week 2.

But now, since Friday last week I have been experiencing a greyish/pinky thick discharge - sometimes approximately 5 times a day. It has an odour at times but now always. last night there was a hard pebble like black/brown piece that was on the TP.

My Gyn doesn't do follow ups until 8 weeks and at that he was really busy so I am going on the 8th which will put me more at 9.

Any input? should I call and try and go sooner ? Would the fall just be a coincidence?

Thanks in advance to all of you great ladies out there !

Re: strange discharge 7 weeks

I had a TAH, not a TVH so I don't know if vaginal discharge is normal at this stage. But considering that there is an odor, I would call the doctor's office today. It's better to be safe than sorry, if you have some sort of infection. Take care and let us know what happens.

Yeah you can call the doctor and at least talk to his nurse. They can tell you if it's normal or not.
