Getting Angry now......
Okay, I need to vent so here goes: I had a TAH on Sept. 17 with right ovary removed. I have found out from other sisters that my smaller clitoris is something I'm going to have to live with due to my blood flow being affected. And I was reading post from sisters who are a year post op, and am finding out that the fat belly is something I will have to live with also!!! Now I'm wondering if I would have been better off with a uterus full of fibroids!! At least then I had a normal functioning clitoris and my belly only looked 4 months pregnant instead of the 7 that I look now!!!! I am on the verge of becoming very depressed, and please sisters don't tell me I need hormones, the left ovary is functioning fine and delivering all the hormones I need.
Sorry sisters for sounding so negative, but that's how I am feeling right now.
Thanks for listening ~Rezz

Dear Rezz,
I already sent you an email after I read your post on the Road Less Travelled forum, but I just wanna remind you that you are ONLY 4 weeks post-op... try to look a little further down the road (8 weeks? 12 weeks?) before you hit the panic button.
You body has been thru major surgery... don't be so impatient... give your body and your emotions time to heal. Lots and lots of women get back to normal. The odds are in your favor.
Sending huge cyberhugs

Getting Angry now......
Hi Rezz,
Just found your post while searching for something else. Hang in there - my dr. said tummy swelling can take a while to subside. Just have to be patient. And getting back to a more active schedule will certainly help., as you get stronger. I am realizing now, but probably not truly appreciating, that this is MAJOR surgery, and an awlful lot of things have goone on with my body; and will continue to occur over time. I understand now after reading a lot of posts that even tho we may feel better, our bodies are still nowhere near finished healing. It simply takes awhile.... Good luck!
Jeannie
