Have been having them all day today. Sitting, standing, walking and now lying in bed. Actually more frequent now that I am in bed. Really starting to bug me. I would describe it as like a 'twanging' feeling. Is it the same for you? Is this normal healing procedure?
I have had that! In fact, I woke up with it in the middle of the night and thought I was going to have to call for help. I mentioned it to the doc and she said it could be my intestines. I'm not sure about that...I think it's my abs
Going to be 2 yrs in Dec. and I have been experiencing these cramps for the past 6 months. Sometimes it is around my navel and then sometimes it is in the abdominal cavity.... I think that my invisible uterus is lonely and I call it invisible period cramps. But all I can do is take a couple pain relievers which are Advils and rest in bed till they kick in. Since my surgery in 08 .. I didnt take my vicadins or loratabs for pain. Didnt like the way they made me feel.
I still hate when this pain comes about... cuz i still have my ovaries and its always twice a month when this happens.
Sometimes I regret having the surgery ...dealing with this is worse than period cramps!
OH my goodness! I had those spasms SO bad for several weeks after my TAH on May 3, 2010 (eight weeks ago). I noticed it more though when I would lay on my back. I would have to put my hand on my abdomen to calm them down. It was so bothersome, but not painful. At least not to where I needed to take anything for it. They were not cramps for me, but more like spasms as you stated. They still occur, but not as often.
