stomach muscles

Will I ever get my stomach muscles back? I am at 6 1/2 weeks and they still hang. Dr no exercise or lifting for 8 weeks.

I'm wondering the same thing? Not that my stomach muscles were that good prior to surgery. I'm at 7 weeks and still have a pouch. What kind of surgery did you have?

I had a bikini cut took curvex and but left overies and tubes. before surgury I was walking3 miles 4-5 days on treadmill and doing a 7lb kettle ball workout 3-4 times a week. My stomach looked better after each pregnancy than it does now. I don't have a pouch my skin hangs over and it really looks terriable. I know I sound vain and maybe I am but I am 51 and wear a size 4 and that pouch looks terrible. My upper muscles work but not my lower ones.

my tummy muscles were flabby before and now they are worse...bleh...looking forward to beginning a new walking routine and start getting myself in decent shape...
