Mirena

Met with my doctor who is suggesting I try the Mirena prior jumping right in and scheduling a hysterectomy. I've read all I can find to read and have even found someone close to me who had the Mirena and got two wonderful years before having to have her hysterectomy. I go in next week to get in placed, hoping it goes well and gives me some relief.

Could you drop me a lil' update on your use of the Mirena. Just starting to do a little research of my own. Concerned about it overall effect and it's effect on existing depression.
