Problems Urinating

I went to the DR wednesday and he said that it was ok for my insicion to ooz a little and I am still having trouble urinating so he checked and said I have an UTI and everytime I urinate it feels like someone is kicking me in the stomach so he said it sounds like bladder spasms so i gotta take medicine for both symptoms for 2 weeks and go back and if i am still having the same symptoms he might have to do an ultrasound or a cath..... I dont know whats going on with my bladder issues but it is driving me crazy lol. It takes me forever to pee cause just a little bit comes out and then it stops so i have to strain to get more to come out. If anyone has had the same problems please let me know what your DR said was causing it. Thanks

Re: Problems Urinating

I, too, have been having urination problems since my LAVH on June 22. They actually kept me an extra day in the hospital because of the problems. I don't have a UTI, but I am having problems fully emptying my bladder. My bladder was embedded in the uterus because of an emergency c-section 20 years ago, so the doctor said she had quite a hard time getting my bladder free before she could take the uterus. She said this is why I'm having so many problems. I am having trouble still, but it IS getting better slowly. I hope you get better soon!
