patch to pill

Hi My doctor is changing me from the Climara once a week patch to Premarin once a day pill. How do I do the change? Should I remove the patch the same day I start taking the pill or should I wait till the next day to take the pill?

You might want to ask your doctor just to be sure........but I recently changed from Premarin to the patch and then back to the premarin. The patch made me feel really lousy -- nauseous, dizzy, BAD headache. My doctor told me to take the patch off at noon, and to start on the premarin that night -- she tells me to take the premarin at bedtime. Well I decided to wait until the next night because I felt so sick and was hoping I would feel better the next day, which I did. Took the premarin that night and every night since and I'm doing great. I'm not a doctor but I don't think it will make a whole lot of difference if you want to wait until the next day, or take your first premarin the same day you remove the patch...........probably just whichever you prefer.
