Intimacy - Post Op Bladder Lift & Rectocele Problems

Okay, I had 3 surgeries in 2/22/2010 - Bladder Lift, Rectocele and Cystocele. Please let me know if there's anyone here that has pain and discomfort when they are intimate w/their husband.

I'm 55 years old, and it's nearly 5 months post-op. The best way I can describe my discomfort and eventual downright pain is I'm now on a time limit. I can't "be" with my husband for more than 5 minutes, or it goes from uncomfortable to painful. I feel bad about this, and the dr's just tell me it'll take time. That sling from the bladder lift really starts hurting, after only a few minutes when we're being intimate.

Also, I'm afraid since that sling starts to literally hurt, that if we're together more than 5 minutes, it'll mess up my bladder lift, and I have to have surgery all over again.

Has anyone had this problem, and if so, does the pain ever go away? Is my bladder lift TOO tight? What is up ?!!

Oh man. I had the same surgery 7 weeks ago and i am doing Ok but am so afraid of the bladder sling falling out. I hope someone responds for both of us.
