Re: pathology results in doubt

Dear christina:

I am so sorry to hear about your hospital visit Is there a diagnosis to go with your symptoms? Once you get a diagnosis, you will be able to figure out the next step.

Perhaps you should seek out a 2nd or 3rd medical opinion. I hope you are able to find the right answers soon. I am sending huge cyberhugs

Re: Emergency blood tranfusion

In my case, I've had to have "3" blood transfusions due to anemia from heavy menstrual bleading (caused by 3 small fibroids). Two in ER (Early May, Early July) and one several hours after my (can't remember the initials) Vaginal Hysterectomy July 30. My monthly bleeding was so bad, that I had only had 3 days of my period before my scheduled surgery, and my blood loss was at dangerous levels.

I tried endo ablation, hormones and birth control pills and the monthly bleeding never slowed down. I had a second and third opinion! If I knew then what I know now, I would have had the hysterectomy in May!
