Loving Husband
I had my LAVH on 7-8 and my husband has been great. But now seems distant. Anyone else feel this way? Or is it just me moody? I have two kids that he took in as his own when they were younger. I'm worried that this had caused more problems than just saving my health! Should I be worried?

Re: Loving Husband
Open communication is the key to any marriage. Talk to your hubby if you are concerned. My husband was very attentive the first couple of weeks, but then had to get back to work and his "normal" life, while i continue to heal at home.
Now I try to make sure we have a chance to chat in the evenings when he gets home, he is still great, just a bit more preoccupied with work than he was at first.

Re: Loving Husband
Hang in there, from what I have experienced and read from other sisters, this is normal. The families seem to have their good and bad days. I think it has to be hard on them having the normal care giver needing the pampering. I know my dh is on and off. I also think that yes, we are moodier and smaller things tend to bother us more. At least I hope so or I am in big trouble! lol
Your dh sounds like a good man, be patient, you will have your ups and down through this process but I am sure the end result will be worth it! I know for me life sucked before, I am looking forward to the fresh start!

Re: Loving Husband
I know the feeling much to well. Main thing is to keep focused on getting better. They don't really understand or can understand what we are going through!!! The week before my surgery, my husband still thought they were only going to remove a cyst and did not understand why I trying to get so much in order. As hard as it can be focus on yourself.

Re: Loving Husband
I am having the same issue. I think that often times as we are healing our other half gets neglected. I wish i had a simple answer.
