Re: Gettin up

Welcome home from the castle. I've been bending my leg and hooking my hands together just below the knee to help me move around and sit up while in bed. It feels like it puts less stress on my middle.

Re: Gettin up

I feel your pain, I have a suggestion for you. I wear silk pajama bottoms they have elastic around the waist and they stretch with you and do not make you feel all confined. Also too I find that they help me move around alot better in bed like you slide easier in a position to finally get up. I hope you feel better take care

Re: Gettin up

I placed an extra kitchen chair with the back facing me and when I'd go to get out of bed I'd roll over and use that to help me up

Re: Gettin up

Not sure if this affects you or not - but I have more pain on one side than the other. I found that by reversing the side that hits the bed first it was a little easier. My bed is high and my husband even has trouble getting in.
