OMG it hit me the love bug

Last night went to bed ok had a very intimate dream I woke up to stop it, but then hubby went to leave for work I swear I could of ripped his clothing off in the daylight in the garage. What do I do. Lets put this way it is so bad I almost O in my dream and why kissing hubby he had to stop me. Am day 9 post op. Not to get to personal but am 34 and well this is new to me. I have always been layed back and let guy lead. Heck I went 3 years yes 3 years no sex forplay not ANYTHING.... I had none of this stuff a day ago what is going on. I asked my doctor which is in another post if I could do outter course she just said nothing in the vagina. Please dont take this the wrong way it is just a guess but am in a mormon state so am wondering if she did not want to answer a sex related question. OMGosh what do I do am afraid when he gets home all be like a dog in heat sorry only way to explain it. Scary because I could feel my girl area get all warm and tingly which I lacked i think before. I had a total vaginal hysterectomy. What happenes if I do Orgasm will I bleed to death or something. Just so weird how my body has changed.....

I want some of what your having.. I tell ya I am not sure. Maybe someone else can answer you. But I have been having those type of dreams. But I guess what helps with me is my hubby isn't very sexual to begin with which is strange. He never has been and I hate that.

Re: OMG it hit me the love bug

Well, if she said nothing inside, then it sounds like outside stimulation is ok....You want to be gentle.....and for real, nothing inside...but the outside stim was all I needed to hit the big O....twice!

I know what you mean....i have not been interested much for a long time, and about a week or so post op I was like....wow, what in the world is this???

Re: OMG it hit me the love bug

Hi

Being just over a week post op, I would be very careful about any sexual stimulation. No matter what type of surgery was done, there is a lot of healing going on inside, with lots of internal stitches. Even if the stimulation is outside, the end result will cause spasms / contractions etc. Please tread with caution.
time. LOL

my husband hasn't been real sexual either the past few years and it bothered me... but since my hyst, he's become a new man! now i'm the one with no sex drive and he's all hot & bothered... he loves the "new" me and especially the fact there is no risk of pregnancy... who knew!

Re: OMG it hit me the love bug

I had a huge increase in my sex drive around the 2to 3 week mark. It stayed really increased for quite a while. Now at 4 months, it has calmed down but still better than before the hyst.

Re: OMG it hit me the love bug

As (((psharky))) said already, you are very, very early in your recovery.

I know this is probably really difficult to read (and of course much easier for me to write) but it is very early to be thinking about sexual gratification. Of course, you can't do anything about what happens in your sleep.

At the risk of bearing bad news, I also have to tell you that you are most likely experiencing hormone fluctuations. These surges are extremely common after hysterectomy surgery. I had them, and like you, I felt like a teenager for a couple of weeks.

However, that feeling went away rather abruptly soon after it arrived -- and my sex drive went "south" for several months (OK, I'll admit it, a couple of years) post-op. In other words, the way you feel today may not be how you feel in a few weeks or months.

As for your doctor -- I think she did answer your question. She said nothing in the vagina (which is exactly what my doctor in Minnesota said). I never asked about manual stimulation, but DH and I waited until a couple of weeks after I was cleared for sexual activity to do anything, so it wasn't really an issue for me.

Hope this helps.
