post op nausea

I am 3 days out of a supracervical lap. Is anyone having nausea after eating and generally not hungry? Lots of growly bowel pain too. How long until it passes? Thanks you.
Hope your healing is going well.

Re: post op nausea

I had to have anti nausea injections for 3 days after my TAH. Mr dr said it was due to the morphine . I didnt have much appetite either but was told to eat something. Ice chips went down a treat and my drip was in for 2 days. Had lots of wind and still have a fair bit after 7 1/2 weeks. A hot water bottle helps with the wind pain and I took peppermint tea.

Good luck and hope you are healing well

Re: post op nausea

I didn't have nauseousness but I sure wasn't hungry for quiet a few days, think it has to do the pain prescriptions, had the gas in the tummy feeling for about 5 days. Hope that helps!
