My final period!

I need a laugh but then it makes me sad as well. My period decided to skip this month and tomorrow is the surgery. No good byes for me. Guess mother nature had other plans for me this month. I think I will get the last laugh, HA HA I finally win a month of no pain, or heavy bleeding forever.

I'm scheduled for August 18th & I am going through an awful period as well. I have already starting planning what's going on that side of the cabinet I have taken over with feminine products! I am taking all leftover products this fall after I feel better & I am having one hell of a bonfire! I can hardly wait. I have told everyone that I want to be the one to the honors as I have suffered enough! I wish you all the best on the 17th.

Great idea! I, however, will be passing mine along to my 16 year old daughter, but she can keep them in HER cabinet now. LOL

Alright, y'all! I am off to the castle.....I started this thread a week ago and it has been fun hearing what everyone plans to do with their supply cabinets, and how they plan to celebrate their unperiods! lol....see ya on the other side....only a few hours until I am a princess!

Great post! I'm starting to feel the same excitement of no more periods and I have about 8 weeks until my surgery. I'm actually looking forward to a better quality of life.

I planning on burning all of my "stuff" once I have my hysterectomy on September 28th. My last period began on May 14th and hasn't stopped since. Today is Day 100!! I am at the point now where I am changing my super plus tampon every 15-30 minutes, wearing the bigest pad I can find and then wearing depends over all of that. D&C, transfusion... I have had enough! Less than 6 weeks until the big day. I just want it over with forever.

You sound JUST like me...I was going through the same thing before my surgery. I had a TAH BSO on Aug. 2nd, and other than the minor healing annoyances, I feel FAB! So glad to be rid of all the heavy periods for months at a time, and after 4 blood transfusion....I was SO ready!

You will feel great once you have it done! Sending lots of hugs and prayers your way for your trip to the castle!!
