Last night in hospital

Well a migraine has set in. Have taken some meds but they have worn off. This last group of nurses seem a little lazy. They are making me record my own urine imination and then I'm dumping it and cleaning out the tray. Fortunately I'm getting around good enough. Anyone else ever experience anything like this? I had a great Dr. Surgery went well and so has recovery. I'm ready to go home.

Re: Last night in hospital

I did it one time myself past midnight because the container was full. The next time they came to measure the volume I let them know what the figure was. I only stayed in the hospital overnight (less than 24 hours). My guess is that they wanted to make sure that you are able to do those things by yourself.

Re: Last night in hospital

I was at Mtn Vista Hospital in AZ. My gyn/surgeon is fantastic. The op staff, anthestiolists and nurses at the hospital were fantastic. However, I was annoyed that I was woken up every hour for vitals, check in, meds, etc. I only stayed one night was home by noon the next day. Showered, etc at the hospital before I went home. Wanted to go home to eat a real meal and get some sleep. However, this surgery has not helped the pain of my endometrosis, ic. or IBS except for the fact that I am only having hormonal periods now. I am not excepting any emotional feelings of loss. Due to insurance complications I had a year to ponder surgery so I got over all those decisions and I certaintly don't feel like less than a woman.

Re: Last night in hospital

This makes sense. It just seemed strange to me. Wow out in 24 hours. That's pretty amazing.
