3 weeks post op dizzy/nausea spells

I am 3 weeks post op. I had a lvah and kept one ovary. My belly is a little swollen and tender. I have been having dizzy/nausea spells for 2 weeks, otherwise I feel good. Help!

Re: 3 weeks post op dizzy/nausea spells

Hi Jo1905
Have you discussed these symptoms with your doctor. The belly issues may be normal as you could still be healing, but the dizzy/nausea spells should be checked out just to be sure all is normal for *you*. Could be your ovary is still waking up and causing hormone fluctuations, but you need to be sure and discuss this with your doctor.

Re: 3 weeks post op dizzy/nausea spells

Thank you. I mentioned it to my dr. at my 2 week check up and she said it could be the anesthesia working its way out of my system. If things didn't get better to call the office otherwise she would do a hormone workup at 6 weeks post op. I find that I get these anxiety type spells with it where my heart races and I feel agitated. I wonder if my ovary just needs to kick in.
