Is this menopause?

Hello Ladies,My name is Anncal63, I can relate to everything. I had Surgery July 24,2003 TAH. Also Bladder surgery , accidently cut into my bladder, . Well here we are Hot Flashes night and day. My covers on my side of the bed are here then gone. We bought a sleep number bed , keep adjusting setting it will get comfortable, not. I can't tell you how long its been since I actually felt cool in my own skin. I never thought there were so many Ladies like me out there. I mean with sweats, heat and hot feet too. No one ever mentioned your feet feel like you are fire, or you sweat just getting dinner ready. I am 7 years post op and 47years old. Does this ever end or is this full menopause? Blood test revealed going into meno, but i don't really know what full throttle will be like? Hope to talk to ya'll soon let me know what works for ya'll and nice to see this site is still here. I did keep ovaries too.

Have you discussed this with your doctor? Perhaps it is time to start some estrogen replacement, which can help to make you more comfortable.
