Hey all. I am seeing I have softer stools but it still hurts to push to get it out.

Re: Soft Stools STILL hurt

I don't push at all. Whatever gets out on its own is all that does at that sitting. I probably go 4-5 times per day because of that.

Re: Soft Stools STILL hurt

I had the same hister day as you and I can understand the pain even if it's soft stool. I just don't push at all, but it still feels painful. I wonder if it's the stitches coming out? or just still 'raw' from the prep the day before? Thought it does not hurt as much but it feel like a very painful 'cramp' for me. How is your progress Mel? Mine is alright.

Re: Soft Stools STILL hurt

For sure not the prep day..... I have IBS and it was constant so I was used to the going all the time. The pressure is all around the lower quadrant. Like something is going to explode.....

Re: Soft Stools STILL hurt

The hurt decreases over time, GasX helped for some reason.

I am used to having the runs, it was very different. I feel so sorry for people who get constipation as a normal part of life.
I was on low fiber diet for 3 weeks too, taking Senna laxative. Once I tried prune juice and it was horrible.
I started also drinking goodbelly, but if you can drink dairy, kefir should help.

Bathroom breaks are still a bit of an event, but minor now.

Re: Soft Stools STILL hurt

I still had pain at week 3. It gets better, the cramping feeling goes away and you soon forget what the cramps felt like. I am 4 weeks out and not having any more pain during BM. good luck
