Exercise 1 mo post op?

So I'm feeling really ridiculously fat right now. I'd like to get moving again but don't want to push, esp since I'm carrying the toddler up and down the stairs already. Had lap...incisions doing great, overal pain doing great. I don't plan on doing any crunches/situps, but would like to do some light hand weights, light cardio/dancing...basically things to move/slightly engage the core, but nothing massive.

Should I wait til my next post op visit in 2 1/2 wks or should I go ahead and try and see how I feel? (thinking just one of those fit tv 1/2 hr shows)

you might want to wait till you hit the 6 week mark and just increase the time you spend walking.
