No Date: lapro hyst and lapro hernia repair?

I am scared like crazy about my upcoming lapro hysterectomy. I have a small hernia the dr. said to repair at the same time (I'll be under anyway). I'd get that lapro too. Anyone have experience with both at once? Amila

I don't have any words of wisdom for you because I've never had a hernia. There are members around here who have undergone both procedures and hopefully, someone will be along to share their story. Hang in there!

I haven't had my hysterectomy yet, but I have had a laproscopic inguinal hernia repair, and it was easy. I didn't even take pain pills when I got home.... just Advil. I wouldn't be concerned about that part of the procedure. It's not a huge deal. Sounds like it's better to get both done at one time rather than go through two separate surgeries.
