Saliva Testing

It's been almost a month since my hysterectomy( full) ovaries and all. I am on bio-identical hormones, and am working to get them a the appropriate levels. I am going to take a saliva test soon. How long do you guys usually wait post surgery to take a saliva test to see how the hormones are doing? Any info would be appreciated.

saliva test I thought about trying it too but costs too mcuh and I talked to my BIO ID pharmacy and she told me what is the normal place to start on my HRT and work from there, to be honest, saliva test only gives you a base point not what is best for you!! Everyone is different. I was told to use x amount of topical gel and after a few months I ended up using less. BUT I do increase it under very stressful times!
