Is this normal? hormones and cramping

I had a LAVH done 2 weeks ago today, they took out everything but my ovaries. I have been having horrible mood swings the past few days and am ready to go crazy! Also I was feeling better but then I lifted up some books (maybe 10lbs) and now I am having nasty cramps. The perk. that the Dr gave me is not working for the cramps. I am a Mom with 3 small kids, my husband is a firefighter and gone for 24 hours at a time, I have help at night but not during the day. I also homeschool my oldest but cannot keep up with anything. How long does this last after a LAVH

Sounds like your doing to much I had those cramps too. My heating pad was my best friend for about 3 weeks. It really did help where the meds didn't. I understand you having things to do and God bless you for homeschooling but please slow down and take of yourself. Sending you prayers and best wishes.
