introduction

I am 2 weeks post op and have been slowly getting along, still on pain meds and not able to drive. I got a scare today when I went to the bathroom and when I wiped got a lot of blood. Not really bright but scared me. I didn't have any discharge after the surgery and just have had a few days of brown discharge I think with the stitches coming loose. I can't call the Dr because he is closed today but I have an appt tomorrow with him. I think I will just go lay on the couch the rest of the day.

Re: introduction

to HysterSisters!

We're pleased to have you join us and look forward to sharing with you as you heal.

Laying low is a good idea but calling your doctor is also a good idea. There should be an after-hours number or medical answering service to take your call. It would be worth it for peace of mind if nothing else. You're welcome to post a new thread in Post-Op to ask for support and when you feel up to it, browse the Post-Op Page resource for helpful recovery information.

I'm sending best wishes!
