Recovery Update LSH/BSO Sept. 30

Well, I made it! I went in yesterday morning for my procedure and was home yesterday afternoon. I slept all day yesterday. I am actually feeling pretty good today I have some discomfort at the incision sites, but other than that I feel good. I bit my lip somehow while I was in the hospital and it is swollen and sore. Also, my throat is very sore, but that is from the tube they had to put in. I have had absolutely no swelly belly!!!!!!!!! I was so worried about that. I even wore my jean capris home from the hospital. I don't know what the following days hold for me, but so far, so good. Thank God and thank you for all of your prayers!

Re: Recovery Update LSH/BSO Sept. 30

That is terrific!

Make sure to take it easy for the next two weeks - no lifting over 10 pounds and no bending; no house cleaning; nothing but sleeping and resting

Let us know how you continue to do.
