Good Luck Ladies

Those waiting on surgery - good luck! I'm six and half weeks after surgery and my biggest complaint is having no energy. I suggest to anyone having a hysterectomy, take as much time off as you can. I had the da vinci method and should have listened better to the doc and taken 2 more weeks off than I did. So even if you think you feel better, take the time off.

I agree! I'm only 1 week post-op, I had a LSH/BSO and my doctor gave me 6 weeks off. Some people don't understand why I'm taking the full 6 weeks, they think I'm "milking it". But I know there will be ups and downs over the next few weeks (and months) and I want to be the best I can be when I return to work.
