headaches..normal after hysterectomy?

Hi Ladies,
Have been having continuous headaches off and on since my hysterectomy in June. I am on bioidentical HRT..the headaches (and anxiety) got worse as I upped the small dosage I was on. Last week changed creme combination..initally less headache but theyre back again...
Anybody else having these headaches? Is this a normal part of menopause? Too much progesterone or what??
Any ideas??

Re: headaches..normal after hysterectomy?

I also had headaches but was not on any hormones. For the most part they've tapered off.

Hi Hystersiser,
thanx for your reply..I noticed you had your hysterectomy back in May..youre about a month or so ahead of me in recovery, so I guess I gotta be a bit more patient.
I had accupuncture today and felt a hell of a lot better..but now the effect has worn off and headache has returned..it must be stress induced..I was worrying re my partner who had an endoscopy today and was delayed so had to wait for him to get out of the doctors room till after 4pm!! Having gone in there at 11.15am!!

Re: headaches..normal after hysterectomy?

Initially, the headaches I had prior to surgery were gone! Now, they are coming back. I wonder if it is part of the estrogen imbalance. So, am I going to have to decide between vaginal dryness/pain and headache pain?
