8 weeks Post-Op Loss of Energy

I need help. I get really tired after walking more than 20 minutes and vitamins seem not to help. I take Women's day Menopausal vitamins (purple), Vit B-12, and Iron tablets daily to no avail. Is there something else I can do. I do not want to take hormones, even though my hot flashes are really bothersome. I had a partial hysterectomy on Aug. 11. Please, please help!!

Re: 8 weeks Post-Op Loss of Energy

I was going to ask the same question, except that I am only 1 week post LAVH. I'm not in any pain and feel pretty good, but tire very easily. I have also started experiencing dizzy spells after walking for more than 15-20 minutes. I have a follow up appt scheduled for 10/29 but am wondering if this is something to be concerned about or if it is "normal". Also I seem to be on the verge of tears all the time. I'm an emotional person, but usually don't want to cry at the drop of a hat!

Re: 8 weeks Post-Op Loss of Energy

I am very emotional as well. I was off from work for 6 weeks (LAVH) and really need it. I don't experience pain, but feeling tired all the time bothers me. I really don't know what to do.

I am nearly 8 weeks post-op with the same fatigue problem. I am severly fatigued and not managing it well at home or work. Called the doc today and I'll let you know what he says when I talk with him tomorrow.

Take care.
