Pain, Bleeding, 2 weeks post op LAVH BSO

I am new here & I have a question. I am 2 weeks out. The past few days I have begun to feel lot of pain. This morning I wake up to heavy bleeding & I started to pass blood clots. I am scared something might not be right.

Forgot to say, I have a staph infection in my incisions. I believe that is getting better & and has nothing to do with all of this.

Any advice??

Any heavy bleeding or clots is worrisome...if you cant get in touch with your dr then I would advise you go to the hospital ER

they say that pink discharge or very light bleeding is ok, but nothing bright red. I'd go to the ER or call my Dr. Keep us posted how you're doing.

Well, I am in the bathroom every 20 minutes & the Dr seemed to think this was ok. The clots, pain & bleeding are not stopping. I guess if it does not slow down soon, I will call the Dr office again.

UPDATE: gyn (finally after 10 hours of horrible bleeding) sent me to the er to figure out the source of the bleeding. Well the er Dr took a look and was able to see where the stitches broke, she was able to apply some pressure to the area to try and stop the bleeding. I have been laying still ever since & so far so good. Hopefully that did the trick.

So today, Sunday I do not plan on moving. I have to check in with Dr Monday.

Oh my goodness. I hope that takes care of it for you. Keep us posted. It will be hard to not move today. I'm thinking about you.
