Back pain with leg cramps

On October 1st 2010 I had an hysterectomy. I had the Da Vinci Surgery with 5 incisions. I have to say the worse part was the cough i had from a cold. It just irritated things more!
I have had 2 c-sections so this was a much easier recovery. But lately I notice standing for long periods of time gives me a horrible backache. Along with leg cramps and headache. I am trying to drink lots of water because I know that will help. Is anyone else having this problem? My doctor will not allow me to exercise yet. So walking is what i have been doing. Frustration set in when my legs feel sore and i have not been out that long. My legs have been campy scene the surgery and i wonder if it is because I am use to standing all day at work and always running from here to there in a days time. I feel as if i have become lazy! Could this be why I am experience this pain?

Re: Back pain with leg cramps

I had a abd. hysterctomy also on Oct 1st. I wake up with back and leg pain! I also have been going for walks, but I normally walk all day at work I am the asst. manager at a store. I feel lazy also lol. I had one c-section but it was 22 years ago so this seems worse . I think are bodies are trying to get used to being active again this is really going to take time to feel normal! Keep me posted on how you are.
