Gas normal after 11 days?

Hi,

I had a laproscopic hysterectomy (davinci method) on October 12 and I'm still having terrible gas pains. Is this normal? I've been taking GasX which does help but the instructions say to only take it 4 times a day and I need it way more than that! I'd appreciate any advice I can get. Thank you!
