TAH 3 weeks Post Op

Hi Sisters

I am feeling ok apart from bowel issues and a nasty sting in the tail. I am on stool softeners and eating healthily.
I needed a TAH because of a very large fibroid 16 x 13 cm.
So far so good and hope it continues. Am still feeling numb below belly button and incision site. I have been told on another thread that this is temporary and due to nerve damage and that things should go back to normal in time. I hope so.
Well - am acting like a princess but doing small things like folding laundry and simple meal prep.
Take care everyone and thank goodness for this site as it is very informative and supportive as we go on our journey through the recovery period.
