Something to Make Us All Smile
When my little niece, Claire (age 8) , asked my brother what was wrong with me and what kind of surgery I had, my brother said "you remember a couple of weeks ago when Rosey the Cat went to the vet to get fixed? Well, Aunt Cindy just got fixed".
My brother, mind you, is a trauma surgeon and that was his explanation to his daughter. I've been so down about all of this, that his comment really made me smile. I hope it makes some of you smile, too.
God bless all of us as we go through this recovery and in the future with our mood swings, hot flashes and night sweats.
