Frequency urge and slow urination

Hello ladies. It has been almost 2 years since my TAH with RSO. Over the last 6-8 months I have started experiencing some "weird" bladder issues. I am not sure if this is related to my hysterectomy or if this is actually normal bladder stuff, but I thought I'd post here and see if anyone could shed some light on this for me.

It started with slow urination. No matter how badly or not so badly that I needed to go, it would take effort for me to begin a stream (sorry for graphic detail). When I would be at work, I would find myself literally having to close my eyes and think of dripping water, and this would still take me at least 30 seconds to begin going after I sat down. This issue has worsened and now it can take me up to a minute, sometimes longer, to begin a stream.

Once I begin to go, it takes FOREVER, especially if I need to go really bad. The worst part is that I cannot "force" it to come out faster. I used to be able to push for the urine to come out faster and stronger (pre-hysterectomy), which usually I would only have to do if I waited to long to use the restroom. Now I can push as hard as I want and it still won't come out faster or harder and actually just hurts to do.

Another issue is the frequency. I find myself needing to use the restroom quite often. I don't count how many times throughout the day, I just know that it is much more frequently than I've ever needed to in the past. Oftentimes I will feel a strong need to go within minutes of having just gone. I will go to the restroom, takes forever to start, and then only some trickles come out, but I still feel this pressure like I need to urinate further. I'll sit there for up to 5 minutes, waiting for more, and finally give up; only to feel like I need to go again several minutes after leaving the restroom. I am also getting up more frequently during the night to go. I've always needed to go an average of once/night, which I've always attributed to drinking water so close to bedtime. But now I'm waking up several times during the night to go, usually an average of once every 2 hours, sometimes within less time than that.

Has anyone ever experienced these issues, and if so were they related to your hysterectomy? I have recently had a urine test for UTI and they said my urine came back perfect. My TAH and RSO was performed for uterine fibroids and endometriosis and my right ovary was removed due to extensive scarring from all the ovarian cysts accompanied by another large ovarian cyst at time of hyster. I still have my left ovary, have never experienced issues with it (as far as I know) and am not on any hormones.

I've had a similar situation. No pain, but definitely the delay in going. I feel the pressure and will go into the bathroom, but it takes a while to begin and the stream is very weak. I was going to ask about it on my next check-up.

I'm due for my annual post-hyster check in January. If you see your GYN sooner, please let me know what he/she says. It's good to know I'm not alone on this issue!
