11 days post LAVH is this normal?

I think i am doing pretty well post LAVH and i have spent most of my time in bed.

My vagina just feels a little sore and my bowls are just not moving right, very sluggish even though i am doing all the right things. Very painful in that area of BM's.

I just feel like i cannot empty my bladder totally, or i am done and really i am not.

i did well well in hosp with the pelvic scan after emptying the bladder, everything was perfect.

also the back pain, this odd back pain....whats up with that?

It sounds like your resting and giving your body time to heal! Getting the system going can take time and keeping in contact with your doctor is a good idea. Back pain can be common after a hysterectomy. I had back pain most likely due to the position I was in during surgery and sometimes the back can ache from using it more to compensate for protecting the abs.
