Am I making the right decision?

I have a questions about adenomyosis. My dr is not sure (guessing?) at this point. I have a partial Hysterectomy planned for 11/29/10. I had an ablation done in August, but the pain has come back. No periods since August, but extremely painful abdominal issues. I went to a GI for 2nd opinion, he did a CAT scan and didn't find anything wrong with gallbladder, etc. and thinks hysterectomy is a good idea. I'm worried that it something else (irritable bowel??). Did anyone out there experience "extreme" gassy feeling and still test positive for adenomyosis?

I assume you are in surgery right now and hope you were able to re-weigh your pros and cons one final time before heading into OR.
